4th Day of Advent!!

Sunday the day before Christmas Eve it was
4th Day of Advent. Sorry, a bit late but there
haven´t been any time for me before tonight!!
Good continuation of Christmas!!

Gingerbread and house.



This weekend I made my first attempt to make a small gingerbread house! My icing was pretty viscous so it was no curlicues on the house. It glued together itself well with it anyway! And Lucia cats I have not done in more than 25 years, but now I was so crave, so after a bit of effort and inconvenience with one hand it worked!!

3rd day of Advent.

Tomorrow it´s already the 3rd day of Advent!!
I don´t know where all the days go...
There are no days I get much done!!
But it doesn´t matter, we´ll soon get Christmas
in all cases!!

Lucia stamps.

Lucia stamp from Kristinas Scrapbooking and the little Lucia parade stamp
is from Pandurohobby. The snow flakes stamps are from Scrap o Hobby and
God Jul stamp from Bokia. The snow flakes are done by punch from Pysseltagen
and the pearls from I don´t remember.The mini clamps and the white flowers with
pearls are from Westers. The golden star is from Bokia. The papers are from
Bokia and Westers. The ribbon is from Villa Solnäs.

Have you thought about that every day is
special?? We can´t get the day back again.
So even if this day has the same numbers,
tomorrow will be a special day too!!

A stable at Hope Square!!

Today I was in Jönköping. At Hope Square (Hoppets Torg) had a stable set up with Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus, etc, and a star on the roof. Beautiful, I think. Then I went on Smedjegatan and was so surprised. I had forgotten they had put heat under the coating, so the pedestrian was dry and without snow and ice. Wonderful! What if it could be heat under all streets and sidewalks so you could avoid slipping!!

1st Sunday of Advent.

One year goes by so fast. Now it's already the first Advent again. 4 weeks left until Christmas. Where does the time go? Time passes so quickly, I think. It may become so when you get older that time is running out. There are so short bright days now before Christmas! Then it´s needed, many Advent candlesticks and stars in the windows. We may begin to light up the first candle and sing in the church hymn "Prepare the royal highway"!!

I love Shabby Chic bolster!!

Something new for our old kitchen sofa.
At last I found this bolster or bed ticking at
www.ohlssonstyger.se. There were textiles,
cloths, pillows and pull downs in this bolster
with different colors.

Cake plates.

Here are the first cake plates I´ve done.
It was a bit difficult to bore in some of the plates
and specially in the cups!! And I hadn´t bore
at all before!! The worst was to find the middle
of the plate and to bore right there.

Hope I´ll find some more plates to make some more
cake plates.

Father´s Day.

Today, November 11, it has been Father´s Day.
Sent this little Easel card to my Dad.

Today November the 6th it´s Gustav Adolf Day in Sweden.
The coffee-shops have a special Gustav Adolf Cake then.
Don´t you think it seems to taste very good??
