The International Licorice Day!!



Today April 12^th it´s The International Licorice Day, in Sweden it´s “Lakritsdagen.”
I love sweet licorice very much. For me it´s a pastry to the coffee!!
When I got an Easter Egg last week I was really surprised!!
It was full of licorices instead of eggs!!

The Wedding Memory!!

An easel with a wedding photo and a desire to be young at heart despite the years go by!

Happy Birthday!!

A card (easel) to anyone's birthday! And congratulations on the name day to The Crown Princess Victoria today March 12! Therefore I put a crown on the card as well. The crown and the pink roses are from Villa Solnäs. The papers are Doodle Flowers Shimmer Paper from Hilda's Room, I think it was, Old Pink Lyrics from Inkido and Maja Design. The photo is from Kristinas scrapbooking.

It´s your day today!! Perhaps it´s your Birthday??                  
It can be a special day of some other reason.
Sometimes we can be sorry for something sad that has befallen us,
but mostly it can be a very happy day remembering something special!!

On the card or easel is a little photo of two friends.
Let us not forgive one another!!

The stamp are from North Star Stamps, the punching templates from Scrap o Hobby, the photo from Pion design, the papers on the easel and in the envelope are from Kristinas Scrapbooking and Stoltz Pyssel & Pynt, the roses and the pearls from Hobby och Hantverk. The butterfly I bought in a bookstore in Jönköping and the white bobbin lace I don´t remember where I found.

The first card!!!!

At last I tried to make a card and I start to say forgive me

Kari!! I guess you can see that the card looks like yours

in some way. Couldn´t help that in that case!!

I like your cards very much and we seem to have rather

the same style (even if you´re from Norway and I´m from Sweden…!!)

Hope you´ll have patience with me!! I wasn´t able at all to make

the card in a trace of so beautiful and well-made like yours!!

I thought the card fits in today on Valentine´s Day (Alla hjärtans Dag).

Much too cold!!

I was in Jonkoping today. I nearly fell backwards on the sidewalks three times. It was so slippery in the cold and light snow. I would rather had plodded in hugsnow!! And it was snowing and blowing hard and cold breezes from the lake Vättern. Not so nice....I said Thanks to God that he help me to still be standing on my legs!! I really don´t wanna break them!!

I guess it will be cold tonight. 23.47  Friday it was -22C (-5F) here.  Much too cold. I´m freezing inside our old house. I´ve my fleece jacket on me and a blanket on my legs. It well be cold to snuggle down into my bed tonight!!
