Gingerbread and house.



This weekend I made my first attempt to make a small gingerbread house! My icing was pretty viscous so it was no curlicues on the house. It glued together itself well with it anyway! And Lucia cats I have not done in more than 25 years, but now I was so crave, so after a bit of effort and inconvenience with one hand it worked!!

The Gustav Adolf Day.

Today November the 6th it´s Gustav Adolf Day in Sweden.
The coffee-shops have a special Gustav Adolf Cake then.
Don´t you think it seems to taste very good??

and the pearls I´ve forgotten!! The stamp "Grattis" is from Westers,

Pecan Pie!!

Pecan Pie with ice cream and coffee!! Always I use to buy a french roll to the coffee, but today I felt I "deserved"  the pie. An hour before the cab would drive me into town, I fell backwards straight down into the floor. I must have taken a false step in some way. I was lucky I not hit my head, but all my back and backside. I never thought I was able to stand up again. But I did after a while. Please remember me in your prayers, that my back will be alright again. It hurts rather much so I have to take pills.
